Yoga/Meditation and the gravity of the mind

Of course, with fewer thoughts our mind is more peaceful. Like a mountain lake undisturbed by breezes, it settles.

In yoga and meditation, we become the witness of our thoughts as we watch our breath. We quit interceding so much in our thoughts and stirring them up.

With less stirring, there’s a natural gravity of the mind to settle.

The less disturbed mind can settle of its own gravity and become calmer and clearer… like our mountain lake.
