Liberation in the little things

Freedom can be found in the little things–dropping a nagging thought or feeling, giving up a judgement, or in a shift of mood….

We come to yoga and meditation with our amassed stresses and discomforts and somehow leave the mat or meditation cushion feeling a little freer, somehow lighter, maybe a little calmer… or happier….

Liberation is at hand in even the littlest of things!

Freedom!

Through our yoga and meditation, we become more free of the things that bind us–shackles of the heart, mind, and spirit–freer to give of ourselves more generously.

We become freer to love, to joy, and to laughter.

We become freer to live!

Best date ever! or Courting contentment

Courting contentment* can be most satisfying.

It’s not easy getting along with her given our habitual unrest, moods, and negativities.

Nevertheless, her accepting ways are truly transformative!

Thank God, she’s anything but picky!

*We can “court” contentment or santosha via our yoga and meditation practices. Santosha is the 2nd of the Niyamas in the Yoga Sutras.  Click here to learn more.

Peace out!

Let peace seduce you.

Devotion grows the space between the breaths,

or at least our experience of it.

Allow yourself to drop deeper and deeper into it via your meditation and yoga practices.

Cultivate peace!

Peace be with you

As we drop deeper into meditation, waters run calmer than the turbulent surface thoughts and feelings.

We can develop and maintain this relationship with peace via regular meditation.

Nurturing and growing this peace take effort!
