No problem, man!

Of course, this is not always the case.

But so often the real problem with a problem is that we see it as a problem.

Yoga and meditation, along with contemplation, can loosen our grip, our emotional and mental bearing down, on a situation freeing up the energy to look at it in new ways.

Dropping our story a bit, we become more open to the the flow of new possibilities.

This can make all the difference in our world!

“Problems” as seeds for growth!

No one in their right mind would welcome hardship or adversity.

But life has its way, and we all encounter varying degrees of difficulties.

In nature, everything is somehow put to positive use.  Another’s “waste” is another’s home or food–a source of sustenance.

Nothing goes to “waste.”

Offer your “problems” and seemingly insurmountable difficulties to the fire of yoga and meditation.  Then step aside and be open to possibilities that might arise as you continue to try your best to deal with your difficulty, hardship, or problem.

You just might be surprised by the direction things take and by their potential for our growth and transformation.

Fuel for transformation

There is no waste in nature.

Through yoga and meditation, our pain (emotional as well as physical), our sadness… our fear and anguish, and even our traumas–all that we at times wish to push away, avoid, and be rid of…

our discomforts become the fodder or fuel for the fire of yoga, and thereby the fuel for our transformation.

Give your treasures freely

Your treasures are not in what you acquire or how rich you are, nor in what you achieve or in how smart or strong you are.  Nor in being right!

The may all be well and good, but do not put your value in these.

Find your hidden treasures within and spend them freely.

This is how we can truly enrich one another!

A touchstone for a happier life

Practice yoga and mediation with great love and respect.

Let it be a touchstone to a happier more joyful life, a greater peace.

In this crazy world, you will, by far, not be the only one to benefit from your devoted effort.

You carry it forth into the world!

You become  the touchstone….

Yoga for life!

We live with and by it every day, every moment, year-after-year, and yet we hardly notice it.

At points like a rushing river, it flows into and through us, and yet we miss it.

The obvious goes unnoticed!

It is even closer than right under our nose!

We are blessed by it, day-after-day, and yet to know we are blessed by it…

well, that makes us doubly-blessed!

I forever give myself to yoga and meditation to deepen and celebrate my love and respect for it.

As the dust settles…

When I sit to meditate, my thoughts swirl blown by mind activity like dust in the wind.

In time, these breezes diminish, and the dust begins to settle to the ground, its home.

So too are we in mediation, settling to our ground of being!

In for a tuning

What do you choose to resonate with?

Each day, I do yoga and meditation not as a compulsion but as a deep desire to tune my instrument.

An untuned guitar does not make pleasant music, nor a piano out of tune.

Our cars need a tune up to run right.

We are no different!
