In our differences, we resonate
like the different thicknesses of strings on a guitar create music
in the hands of the skilled musician.

The healthy ego enjoys its own dissolution into bliss, scintillating and fading for a bit into nothingness like a Star Trek traveller being beamed up.
“Ready?”
Meditation and yoga, “Beam me up!”
Since life is but a dream…
Why not try to live the life of your dreams!
Fermenting is transformational–grapes become wine, grains beer, teas become kombucha, cabbage krauts and cucumbers pickles….
You introduce certain factors and do certain things to “manage” or shepherd the process along. You do not rigidly “control” it.
Such is yoga–you meditate, do pranayama and asanas… you add a bit of this, and that, and observe the process, adjusting certain factors as you deem helpful–
to your fermenting process!
Yoga and mediation can open us more to the flow of life energy and literally make us feel and be more alive!
With great love and respect, we can choose to live in harmony with this life force.
This is the root of our deepest and everlasting happiness.
In yoga and meditation, we, in time, come to see that which we seek is doing the seeking.
It is in every yoga pose and in every attempt.
We feel it in our blood flowing.
Every one of us already has it; we just fail to realize it.
And as we come to know it, its awesomeness is truly humbling.
No one is more it than another.
We share it it equally.
And its bliss is a never-ending fireworks show profoundly surpassing all others!
Happy 4th of July!
Like a black hole’s incredible gravitational pull sucks matter and energy into it, the center in meditation miraculously absorbs our usual flurry and hubbub of thoughts leaving a much stiller mind.
In meditation, we turn our senses inward.
As the mind quiets, it as though I pass through veils and drop or am drawn by the center into new energy spaces deeper and deeper within.
This center draws me inward through these veils guiding me to itself.
Just because we may be comfortable doesn’t mean…

Like a peaceful mountain meadow surrounded by the trails that lay ahead, meditation and yoga can provide a respite from life’s daily efforts, a space to renew for what lies ahead.
