A somewhat controlled burn… well-managed

Like rubbing two sticks together, through our yoga and meditation practices, we rub our self, the ego or individual , against the universal or the Self.

This creates heat or tapas which purifies our self so that it can align more with the universal Self. It is this heat which drives our transformation.

Burn baby, burn!

What is it that guides this burn?

Resounding happiness, our ultimate shock absorber

Our yoga and meditation help us develop our relationship with resounding happiness that echoes throughout our being!

This deep happiness is the source of our resilience, stamina, and perseverance. It is the ultimate shock absorber on this often bumpy road of life.

It is the source of our ever-constant heart smile, our solace and comfort, our strength and our tenderness, our perseverance and resilience.

It is at the heart of our practice!

Dialed in

In our yoga and meditation practices, how do we align or tap in?

We make physical as well as internal adjustments much like tuning an old analogue radio into a station to get less static and more clearly into the station.

Through our yoga and meditation practices, we can become more dialed into the universal, into that which is our very own nature we share with all life.

How does this feel to you?

Taking time to restore

We all need time to restore.

There will not be any posts for the next few days.

It’s time for a break from writing and sharing… but not from practice for The Every Day Yogi.

Hey, try this restorative pose or a variation, and give yourself time to restore!

Be well, be safe, be happy! Here’s to your health and well-being!
