A fly on the wall this 4th of July!

Imagine, if you will, a fly on the wall… with an ever-compassionate blissful smile,

and you will begin to experience the Witness or your very own Self,

shedding its grace on thee.

Happy 4th of July. Here’s to your happiness and good health and the fireworks of your living, loving smile!

Low and slow

So many wonderful things are low and slow–making good wine, fermenting kombucha or pickles, making sauerkraut, smoking meats….

It’s the greatness we bring to this moment of life that makes for a great life. We can make the effort to do this again and again… and again.

As we make the effort to live each moment as best we can, low and slow, we can build a pretty great life….

The best of company!

I started hanging out with you, yoga, at a very young age…. I was so impressionable.

I visited you daily through yoga and meditation because I liked your company so much.

I loved how you were rubbing off on me helping me feel more peace and happiness, joy and love, deeper compassion and acceptance, strength and stamina through suffering, greater equanimity…

So glad to have such good company… SUCH GOOD COMPANY!

Can’t buy me love!

Have you ever noticed how light shining off a mirror can be blindingly bright or sunlight off a wall can be so intensely hot?

So it is with yoga and meditation. The mirror of the practices can intensely reflect back to you.

Bring love to your practices, and you will receive an intensification of this love back.

No, money can’t buy you love, but devoted loving practice* sure can!

*Bhakti yoga is yoga focused on love and devotion.

Acquiring wealth through yoga?

When you share your inner wealth most generously, you do not become poorer.

It’s more like a capital investment–the more you spend, the wealthier you become.

Increase your inner wealth with regular yoga and/or meditation practice.

It’s not a get-rich-quick scheme, but one with an investment of time and effort. You’ll bank something that’s yours and yours to share for life.

Wealth for a lifetime!

Yoga and meditation are certainly in their heyday, a far cry from the “weird” looks 45 years ago when I began!

Doctors, physical therapists, athletes, therapists… tout yoga and meditation. Benefits for physical and mental health, for personal happiness abound in professional articles and sales ads for products.

Obviously, The Every Day Yogi is going to tout yoga’s benefits! After all, I practice every day!

Yoga and meditation are no panacea. They will not “solve” your problems! But the practices are one heck (or hella’) of a life support system!

They’ll support your inner peace and happiness, physical and mental health, and even possibly your wealth… certainly your inner wealth for a lifetime!

Feeling mo’ better

Find it hard to practice yoga and/or meditation regularly?

You’re not alone. We all feel this way sometimes!

Tell me, how do you feel before doing yoga and/or meditation?

How do you feel after?

If the answer is “better,” then you know why you practice… and if it’s more regularly, you’ll feel “better” more…

Practice regularly, and feel… mo’ better!
