Striking oil!

Beyond words and concepts, there is a space that literally vibrates or hums with life.

Like oilmen drilling for this valuable resource, through meditation and yoga, we tap in. Often this bubbly life force or the Prana Shakti emerges to the surface suffusing our being with its treasured presence.

Though we don’t always “strike oil” or feel the gushing forth of this wondrous force when we practice, when we do…

EUREKA!… we are dumbfounded, awe-stuck, and humbled by this amazing treasure that fuels our being and all creation each and every day–LIFE!

Shine!

May your yoga and meditation practices be the embrace of love that develops your humanity.

Tap in with regular practice and gradually erode your blinders to our common light.

Aging agelessness!

No matter what our age, through yoga and meditation, we can tap into that which is teeming with energy–the ever-ebullient life force, the Prana Shakti!

How will it manifest in us today, in this body that is a certain age?

Students (of the Prana Shakti) for life!

Through yoga and meditation, we become aware of this grand life flow of which we are part, which literally enlivens us and all of creation.

Inside and outside of us, life is awash with this marvelous flow of the Prana Shakti.

Breathe in and out.

Focus your attention on this gracious flow of breath,

and through your practices come to feel its nuanced and subtle always-enlivening vibrations and hear its stories.

As yogis, we are students of the Prana Shakti for life!

Extreme balance!

The heart-felt path is the balance of extremes, the balance of of passion and reason.

Yoga and meditation are like balance scales that bring the weights of both, and in fact all extremes, into balance.

Even when things weigh heavy on us, the practices can bring things more into balance.

A treasure map

I remember when I first read that the source of true happiness and joy, and peace lay within.

Way too simple. Way too alluring!!

45 years later with yoga and/or meditation practice daily, it confounds me that such a treasure exists, and yet many, many of us steal ourselves away from some sort of practice that reveals this incomparable treasure.

Yes, it’s work! Yes, it take effort. Yes, it takes discipline. It takes patience!

But so does everything else!!

What are you waiting for?

Let the practice begin. Start to tap in today, tomorrow. Appreciate your progress–start to sit and merely watch your breath, take a few yoga poses….

Start to open up to the greatest human treasure, one we can covet, but need not because its source is infinite and always present.

Practice and begin to follow this most precious travel and treasure map.

Wedded for life!

You’ll get a charge out of this.

As long as we are alive, we are plugged into the same power source, the life force.

Through yoga and meditation, we become more intimate with this life force that grows us, breathes us–that equally runs through all of us, all animals, all plants, all of life…

till death do us part!
