THIS is why we practice!

Yoga and meditation have always effected and improved our lives.

Agreed, we are presently in the midst of some pretty hairy times!

Your practices are for now— how they can give you resiliency and greater peace during these difficult times, how they can uplift your heart and mind in the midst of it all and bring that to those around you.

Now the practice of yoga begins.*

Beautiful spring singing

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, our hearts need their spring.

Take a walk in nature… in the garden… on a trail or a beach (still social distancing of course!), and breathe deep the fresh air and scents of the new season.

Maybe practice some yoga or meditation outdoors in a beautiful spot.

Share the beauty you feel like those singers from their balconies in virus-struck Italy.

Let the beauty you feel sing forth from you! Right now it’s not only good medicine for you but for everybody!

The “ground” of our being

Sometimes during yoga, we may feel ourselves dropping below our normal surface thoughts, ratcheting down. Our thoughts slow and our heart grows quieter.

Here we may discover the ground of our being which is less like the solid ground, but more like being held by a hammock or the support of a suspension bridge—supported, secure, held, and safe…

always there in the midst of it all!
