Make the most of this opportunity

When the uninvited guests of death and fear show up at our door, we are often thrown into a discombobulated frenzy and may even frantically and compulsively try to ignore their knocking in hopes they’ll go away. However, instead, stop and cordially invite them to your table, and they will tell you a simple truth: Life as you know it is limited; live it fully with the now you are given.

And, at the same time, try to form a daily, active relationship with that which is unchanging. It will transform your perspective again and again.

This process of union of our lower self, the ego, with our higher Self, the universal, is yoga.

Space to breathe

Animals find safe places to recover and lick their wounds. We too need space to breathe more easily, out of harm’s way, and recover from life’s trials and challenges.

Find refuge, and restoration, and solace in your yoga and meditation.

It is a safe place to really let go and to regenerate and feel more whole again.

A friend for life

Yoga has been defined as the union of the lower self, the ego, with the higher Self, the universal.

The peacefulness of the higher Self makes no suppositions of how life should be.

It knows no limits. It accepts all that arises, even that which cannot yet be fathomed.

It is always quietly and reassuringly there in the background like a friend for life.

OMing devices

The practices are like homing devices that bring us back to our center again and again.

There’s great inner peace and freedom in know we are so equipped with our regular yoga and meditation practices.
