Ssshhh,
come with me
over here,
and let’s get high…
on a little…
yoga and meditation!
Ssshhh,
come with me
over here,
and let’s get high…
on a little…
yoga and meditation!
Like the extended hand of a good friend, yoga and meditation are always there for me.
Neither a fair-weather friend nor one of convenience, each forever loyally and generously offers their compassionate and loving support and guidance, with the best they have at the time.
May our meditation and yoga be a love fest, a Woodstock of the heart!
Just as our attention rides the waves of the breath in meditation and yoga, we too ride the waves of time.
Such is flow of our lives on the waves of time.
At the end of yoga class, we take a moment to acknowledge, honor, and love that which is being you, me, and all of life–the wondrous, creative, uplifting energy of the universe that is being us all.

Yoga and meditation are ways to relate to this evolving person, accepting what is happening now, and… a week from now.
Unlike our fingerprints, I am never really the same person twice.
The breath is happening now in this body. Focusing our attention on it brings the mind out of its reveries to this person we are right now, and to this person we are… a week from now.
In meditation and yoga, we become aware of the teeming of life, vibrating like little protozoans in a drop of water.
We are alive!
We can feel this space again and again, no matter what our age or health.
This is something worth celebrating, don’t you think?
The light that we seek guides us to itself.
Glimpses of it motivate our efforts and give us direction. It lights and shows each of us our path to it.
Your effort is doing the practices!
We all know how good it feels to relax.
Our breath and thoughts get slower, our heart a little lighter. Our lips might part and smile.
There’s an ease. There’s a sense of relief… for a bit.
We take breaks and vacations to come back to ourselves, “a new man/woman.”
Such is meditation! Practice even just a little every day, and see where it will take you!
Yoga and meditation undo the knots of our being–physical, emotional, mental, and energetic/spiritual.
