Moved by love, moving with love

Whether a tidal wave or a mere trickle, the flow of love in yoga is life-changing, transformative.

Who or what, might we ask, is not moved by love?

As we practice our yoga and meditation more, over time, we may come to more see and feel ourselves moving with love.

We learn to flow more with it, attuned to it through practice and attuned to it more through the rest of our lives.

Yoga for life, yoga for love!

Shine on!

When we polish an apple, it gives it a luster.

The same is for us when we practice our yoga and meditation.

More luster!

luster: a glow of reflected light; a glow of light from within; an inner beauty

This most current event

As we meditate and do yoga more regularly, the current of the life force or prana shakti can feel stronger and get more obvious or pronounced.

In time, this current or flow can grow so strong that our mind can become riveted or absolutely present to it.

It is literally the current event–that which is flowing through you and me right now.

As we practice our yoga and meditation, we become more deeply absorbed in this most current event!

Grander in time!

The Grand Canyon was not worn away in a day, but rather by the continuous flow of the Colorado over a long period of time.

Such is yoga and meditation to our ego–with regular practice over time, the ego is reconditioned or worn to come more and more in line with the Self, to become more attuned to its greater nature.

The Grand Canyon is still getting deeper, day-by-day…

The more practice over time, the deeper we go.

Now, that’s truly grand!

The dominoes of deep happiness

The natural intoxicants that naturally flow from your yoga and meditation practices come free.

Their greatest side effect is they spread naturally to those around you.

And the momentum these intoxicants of happiness accumulate from regular practice set up a cascading domino effect of deep happiness that sweeps away impediments that thwart their wonderful and lasting effect.

Homeward bound!

Thank the ever-restless and active mind that leads us to its source and resting place, the heart.

If not for this unrest, would it seek its rest?

If not for being wayward, would it yearn for and seek its home?

Yoga and meditation are the path we can take, homeward bound.

The gateway drug

Love is the gateway drug to any yogi.

Totally, completely safe with no dangerous side effects (except for maybe spontaneous laughter, smiles, dancing or overgenerous acts of kindness).

The cost–the effort and time to practice.

Beware of deep happiness. It can become addicting. You might just become a regular “user.”

Love is the drug….
