Uncommonly good

Ahimsa–the first Yama, or restraint, in the Yoga Sutras promotes peace and well-being for oneself and others.

Non-harming, or at least less so, for oneself and others, all others.

The common good… how uncommonly good.

Worth striving for, don’t you think?! It might just get us somewhere better….

Rehydrate!

Like a dried mushroom, shriveled parts of us can expand and come back to life through our meditation and yoga practices.

Breathe and hydrate yourself.

Expand your vision and your heart.

Un-shrivel!

A happier new year awaits us!

With regular practice of our yoga and meditation, we can grow and deepen our relationship with that which most matters in life–the universal inner Self, its love, joy, laughter and smiles and tears, compassion and contentedness… with inner peace.

Through our practices, we open ourselves and make the effort to visit this energy again and again, inviting the grace of its reverberations to echo and resonate in our being…

We start to reverberate more in sympathy to it, self to Self,

into our day and into our lives.

Celebrate this!

Our usual New Years celebrations may have to take a backseat to the virus this year.

It’s sad how many live gatherings with friends and family we’ve had to forgo or alter for all our safety–for our health and well-being.

Nevertheless, cheers, santé, salud!

To your health and well-being!

What can we do in 2021 to support the health and well-being of ourselves and those around us?
