Sharing the light together

Through yoga, you can come to know the light and love you need not earn, that just exists beyond circumstance.

Not needing to “earn” this light and love, that you already “have,” you can humbly honor, serve, and share this light in all you do and in others.

Namaste as a practice is acknowledging this light in yourself and others and sharing it… and celebrating it in and through life.

Namaste!

This season of light!

Namaste is bringing your light to honor another… with a smile, a kind word, a light-hearted laugh….

It is honoring the light and bringing it out of the darkness to others. It brightens your life and theirs.

This month, we celebrate a full moon, winter solstice, Christmas, and Chanukah–all bring the light to the darkness.

This COVID winter, may we find safe ways to share our light however we can, bringing some light to this darkness.

Namaste!

Namaste is a question, an inquiry

Namaste is a proposition, a question, an inquiry into seeing the light, the universal, or the highest in ourselves and in one another. It is born out of deep respect and love!

We inquire how to see and live from this space, and yoga and meditation are our paths of tangible investigation and evolution of ever-deepening answers and experiences.

Namaste?

Cozying up to gratitude

Though it’s unclear which comes first, the gratitude or the peace….

May an avalanche of gratitude sweep you away to a happy and joyful sweet Thanksgiving filled with love, peace, smiles, and a full belly as well as a full heart.

A grateful song

Gratitude is a contented and peaceful heart’s joyful song.*

In this year of COVID, when many of us will not gather together physically like in past years, what will you sing about this Thanksgiving? Who will you sing it to and how can you share your song?

*Yoga and meditation can nurture, support, and help us develop such a heart.

It’s time we “refresh our posture”

In yoga and meditation, you often hear the instruction to “refresh your posture.”

In yoga, this can mean grounding and rising up from stability, drawing our body more into alignment, bringing steady breath to a pose…

In meditation, re-adjusting our sitting pose to ground our sit bones and elongate the spine upward, to return our attention to the breath and/or a mantra or sacred image…

At this time when COVID-19 is in a resurgence, let’s pay more attention to our wearing a mask, keeping a safe distance from one another, reaffirming whatever you can do to help lessen the spread… more hand washing… refresh your posture for your health and for those around you.

Refresh your posture for everyone’s benefit.

For everyone’s health and well-being!

Lighten up

How can we share light today?

In gratitude? Friendship? Laughter? A smile? A sincere compliment? A kind word or act?

In love… any word or action given with love.

How can we lighten up this world today, and every day?
