Unmask your inner smile,
and wear it proudly….
No mask can hide it!
Through our yoga and meditation practices, we gradually unmask our inner smile, our inner light.
There’s no hiding its glory!

I have complete faith in the breath to hold me for a lifetime.
For many, yoga is mainly about exercise and physical health, which is all well and good. But yoga is this, and so much more.
In fact, I have never seen my yoga teacher take a yoga pose or had her teach an asana or pose (other than how to sit for meditation and chanting). Really!
So what is yoga then?
Regular yoga and meditation are a bit like baking bread. Regular practice over time helps to encourage and solidify a higher or risen state, solid yet uplifted.
Practice your yoga and meditation regularly and make the most of the ingredients that make up this human experience, a life you can be satisfied and happy with.
Well-baked and delicious!
During these topsy-turvy times, our meditation and yoga practices can help us regain our footing.
It really only takes a morsel of peace to feed you, again, and again. And it’s more than enough… to share!
May peace be with you!
Shhh! You’ve just been kissed by silence.
What seeds will you cast and grow with the attention of your mind?
Cultivate the plants you want. Weed and remove those you don’t.
Assessing your terroir, seed what virtues may prosper and bear fruit you desire!
It’s gardening season. Crowd out the weeds by growing your virtues!
This too is yoga!
May your yoga and meditation practices fan a spark of silence to ignite your forest of busy thoughts creating an ever-increasing clearing of inner peace.
No amount of toilet paper can help us if our attitude and mental health go down the toilet!
The stresses of coronavirus abound from health to economic to education. We need not enumerate… we know them all too well!
In many ways, we are in survival mode.
Yoga and meditation, though not cure-alls, can help uplift our spirits, give us a shot of positivity, even out our moods or emotional swings, give us a bit of stability, maybe some inner peace in the midst of it all….
The practices can help us be more resilient, to rebound and recover more easily from even momentary “crises.” They can help us roll with it!
The practices can help us not only survive, but possibly thrive no matter the circumstances!
No sh-t!
With our lives so different now because of coronavirus, it is the perfect time to ask what no longer serves us and drop it.
Why be encumbered with what no longer serves us?!
Yoga and meditation can help reposition us for the new day before us empowered to meet its demands.
As we come out of sheltering in place, ask what is necessary to be safe and what to do to help others be safe too.
It’s in all our best interests to do so!
Joy in the face of suffering births compassion.
If there is nothing else the coronavirus has taught us, we know the changeability of circumstance all too well… life is so different from just a few months ago.
Now is not at all like then.
It actually never was. We just may not have been awake to it.
We need to constantly recalibrate to the flux.
Amidst this flux, regular yoga and meditation help keep us more in tune or filter whatever is mucking up our state.
Yoga and meditation can help us deal with any and all circumstances no matter how bizarre and unexpected.
This is why and how regular yoga and meditation can lead to a happier life–you can more readily accept change as it happens and recalibrate to it. You can be open to finding workable variations of your pose to preserve and even further develop your relative inner peace and stay more centered in your heart throughout whatever may arise in this wild and crazy life!
